Democratic Candidate for the Florida Legislature Marches in Local Easter Parade

Nicole Haagenson (D), who is running for the Florida House of Representatives District 54, and her family marched in the annual Dale Sorenson Realty Easter Parade on Ocean Boulevard in Vero Beach.  Democrats of Indian River marched with Nicole passing out candy for children and informational brochures.

The family-friendly event brought out many working families and seniors who cheered on the participants.  Children lined the street with their Easter baskets hopeful for candy and filled with personal wonder at all the brightly decorated golf carts passing them as everyone celebrated our beloved community.  It was a sunny and fun-filled afternoon at the beach.

Nicole is an Air Force veteran who puts service before self.  She will be a new voice in Tallahassee who supports:

A Clean Environment as the Foundation of our Local Economy

—  Increased State support for lagoon and beach restoration
