Go to the Polls on Tuesday and VOTE

Tuesday, August 28th, is the last day that all residents in Indian River County have the opportunity to vote for candidates in the Primary Election.  For both Democrats and Republicans, you will be selecting candidates who will then run in the general election.  Offices you will be voting for include Governor, Attorney General, Secretary of Agriculture, Florida State and Indian River County judges, and County School Board.

For School Board and Judges, this primary election is most likely the one and only time you get to vote for these offices and make your voice heard!

“Every election is important.  2018 is an especially important year.  As Democrats, we have been working to get out the vote and to vote by mail,” said Kim Lorimier, Chair of the Democratic Executive Committee.  “The Democrats of Indian River are knocking on doors and phone banking to get Democratic candidates elected.  Our volunteers are invigorated by the responses they have received and dedicated to boosting the Democratic Vote.”

If you have not voted by mail or early voted, please plan on casting your ballot at your local precinct on Tuesday, August 28th.  The polls will be open from 7 am to 7 pm.  Look on your voter registration or visit the Supervisor of Elections to determine your precinct.  You can also find a list of the polling places here.

Be a Proud American and exercise your right to Vote!
