Free pizza lunch and letters to our representatives!

As you’ve heard funding for the federal programs that support Habitat for Humanity are currently facing great risk. It’s vital that members of Congress hear from as many Habitat advocates as possible about the importance of these programs.

On Friday, July 28th, from 12pm – 2pm, we are inviting everyone from the community to join us at the Habitat office to fill out 3 postcards or letters. The postcards and letters will be sent to their 2 representatives and senator, encouraging them to support the federal programs that support Habitat for Humanity and the families we serve.

Postcards, letters and postage will be provided by the affiliate. We are asking that supporters simply lend us an hour of their time and their voice.

Please note that we will provide a pizza lunch to anyone who joins us in this effort on Friday, July 28th!

Join advocates from across the country in calling for greater investments in affordable homes and our communities!  Organized in partnership with the National Low Income Housing Coalition and intended to maintain energy around affordable housing before August recess.
