There’s still time to take action during our next Florida Dems Statewide Weekend of Action on Saturday, May 30 and Sunday, May 31.
Florida Republicans recently redrew the congressional maps to protect their power. Our organizing response is clear: organize everywhere, bring more people in, and outwork them in every community.
Whether you’re ready to host an event, attend one near you, or call voters from home, there’s a role for you.
1. Host an event in your community
If you are part of a DEC (county party), club, caucus, local volunteer team, or just a group of Democrats ready to take action, you can host a canvass, phonebank, or both.
FDP has created a toolkit to help you plan your event, recruit volunteers, and connect your work to our statewide Vote-by-Mail re-enrollment program.
Use the May 30–31 Weekend of Action Toolkit here: Toolkit: Hosting an Event
2. Find a local event near you
Democrats across Florida are already planning canvasses and phonebanks for the Weekend of Action. Whether you’re ready to knock doors, make calls, or help support a local launch, there may be an event in your area where you can plug in.
Find a local Weekend of Action event here: Event Finder
3. Call voters from home
Want to help from home, or just looking for the easiest way to plug in? Join our statewide Vote-by-Mail re-enrollment phonebank on Saturday, May 30 from 1:00–3:00 PM.
We’ll provide the training, call script, and support you need to call Democrats and make sure they know they need to re-enroll in Vote-by-Mail for 2026.
When Democrats are enrolled in Vote-by-Mail, they vote more than 95% of the time — but under Florida’s current rules, every voter has to re-enroll after each major election cycle. That means even Democrats who voted by mail in 2024 need to sign up again to receive a mail ballot in 2026.

Whether you host, attend, or call from home, you can help Florida Democrats grow our organizing infrastructure and win in August and November!
All the best,
Chris
P.S. Mark your calendar for our next few Statewide Weekends of Action: June 13–14, June 27–28, July 11–12, July 25–26, and August 8–9.
