If you have an interest in the Recreation Department, City parks, Leisure Square Rec Center, public beaches, the River House or the Bethel Creek House, July 11th is the day that the City Council will be discussing their budgets. If you have a child in summer camp, if you went to aerial antics, if your neighbor’s kid does; if you have rented the River House or the Bethel Creek house, if you value our City parks, this will be your opportunity to tell the City that you are in favor of funding these City treasures. Mayor Harry Howell has stated publicly that he is in favor of demolishing Leisure Square. If you care….show up. Also, share this post with others who care.

The budget meeting will begin at 9:00, Wednesday July 11, in the City Council chambers at City Hall. PLEASE SHARE
