Come and join fellow environmentalists, including the Clean Water Coalition of Indian River County, to protest any move by the Board of County Commissioners to allow an easement to overrule the Mosquito Board’s ban to allow a wastewater effluent pipe in the Lagoon.  Any decision to reverse the Mosquito Board’s decision is an overstretch of county authority.  Please some and let the Commissioner’s know that construction of a pipeline is taking too dangerous a chance for our Lagoon to be irreparably damaged.  It could be an environmental disaster.  And, there is no reason to gamble on building a pipeline when there are viable and safe existing options.
