Why? Mike Haridopolos just went on NPR and blamed Democrats for the government shutdown when they had been trying to meet with their colleagues for weeks. Instead of fixing the issue, he called our list of demands, like reversing cuts to Medicaid a ‘ransom note’. Not only that, but he voted for the recissions package that defunded emergency alerts, slashed kids’ educational television, shut down public radio/tv, and cut lifesaving health and nutrition programs. Despite RSVPing to his numerous “virtual town halls”, we’ve never gotten the invite, nor did he appear at Rebbecca’s Town Hall. It’s obvious that our Representative hasn’t been listening to his constituents or his colleagues, so let’s greet him outside of his presentation at the Taxpayers Association luncheon with our demands!
