Indian River County’s Board of Commissioners passed a proclamation designating May 16, 2017 as Peacemakers and Protectors Day.  Velde Ford and Jetsons Appliances are sponsoring an event benefiting the Veterans Council of Indian River County.  The event is planned as a day of gratitude and respect, dedicated to honoring peacekeepers, veterans and active duty military servicemen and servicewomen.
