NAACP Freedom Fund Banquet Hailed by Democrats of Indian River
The Indian River County NAACP held their annual Freedom Fund Banquet on Saturday, April 14th at the Gifford Community Center. The keynote speaker was the Reverend Gil Ford who is the Director of Unit Capacity and Compliance for the National Headquarters. His address was focused on positive deeds, “Steadfast and Immovable: Always Abounding in Good Works.”
The Democrats of Indian River gathered at the banquet as their monthly social event being coordinated by Sandy Mandel who will be President of the new Democratic Club. Mandel noted,
