Happy New Year, Democrats of Indian River!
2018 is the year that Indian River County will help elect a new Democratic Governor in Florida, re-elect Democratic Senator Bill Nelson to the U.S. Senate, and defeat Representative Bill Posey by successfully electing a Democratic Congressperson to the 8th Congressional District. Electing Democrats to office will do more to help our working families and preserve our Democratic principles than any other single activity.
It’s all about promoting the power of the vote in 2018. Together, we can do this Indian River County!
The United States of America, State of Florida, Indian River County, local county municipalities, and the judiciary will all have candidates running for office in 2018. The Democrats of Indian River vow to:
- Get out the Democratic vote and to increase the number of citizens voting by mail. You can vote and vote by mail!
- Fund raise, canvass, phone bank, and organize for Democratic campaigns. You can help elect Democratic candidates!
- Ensure every precinct in Indian River County has a precinct captain working on getting out the vote, effectively increasing the membership of the Democratic Executive Committee. You can be a precinct captain!
- Increase the number of Democratic volunteers working on the environment, affirmative action, communications, fundraising, office management, and vote building. You can share your skill set to improve our community!
United, we have one primary goal in 2018: We must get Democrats elected at the national, State, County, and local levels. It’s all about the VOTE.
The Democrats of Indian River cannot do this without your support!
