NATIONAL VETERANS GROUP ENDORSES HAAGENSON AS EMERGING LEADER

Nicole Haagenson, candidate for state representative and an Air Force veteran, has won the endorsement of a national organization whose mission includes promoting the candidacy of veterans at all levels of government.

“On behalf of VoteVets (Political Action Committee), and over 500,000 of our supporters, I wish to congratulate you on your endorsement for the VoteVets PAC Emerging Leaders Program,” wrote chairman Jon Soltz in his announcement.  “I am pleased to support you in your campaign to serve your fellow citizens of Florida’s 54th District in the House of Representatives. We at VoteVets (http://www.votevets.org) are always so proud to see fellow veterans like you continuing their service after the uniform.”

Haagenson expressed her gratitude for the endorsement. “It’s an honor to receive an endorsement from VoteVets.org. They are all about standing behind candidates that will work for Veterans and I’m humbled to be listed as one of their Emerging Leaders.”

During turbulent times in politics and governance, said VoteVet, the skills and experience of veterans are sorely needed. The endorsement grants Haagerson the opportunity to be profiled on the organization’s website and access VoteVet members through Facebook and Twitter.

According to the organization’s website, the mission of VoteVets.org is to use public issue campaigns to give a voice to veterans on matters of national security, veterans’ care, and every day issues that affect the lives of those who served and their families.
