FDP Chair Calls Out RNC and NRSC for their Defense of Florida Voter Suppression Bill SB 90

FLORIDA— Yesterday the NRSC and the RNC decided to come to the defenseof Governor Ron DeSantis and the Republicans in the Florida legislature over their blatant voter suppression bill, SB 90 given that multiple lawsuits have already been filed against the legislation. But frankly, if the legislation was actually about election integrity, they would not have to spend so much energy defending it, nor would they be worried about the legal challenges to the bill.

“The Florida GOP, RNC & NRSC know that SB 90 isn’t about election integrity, it is about controlling who is voting by creating new barriers to the ballot box. The Republicans have resorted to blatant voter suppression because they are so scared of Florida voters holding them accountable for their failed policies.”
